Description

Amalfi Semiconductor is looking for an Applications Engineer to join the Systems Validation Group.  In this role you will work with the Engineering and Testing teams to perform first article verification/qualification of RF devices.

Responsibilities Include:

• Development of internal and customer reference boards
• Review of customer designs using Amalfi devices
• Management of external suppliers and resources as appropriate
• Writing Application Notes and Datasheets
• Training Field Application Engineers as required
• Creating presentation material for Sales & Marketing
• Providing customer support on technical issues and product failures
• Providing system level feedback for the definition of future products

Specific Qualifications Include:

• BSEE or MSEE
• Minumum of 5 years experience in RF board and systems design
• Experience in the design of GSM mobile handsets
• Experience with RF bench testing and data collection
• Strong team-player and practical problem solver to work with internal chip and software engineering
• Diplomatic, responsive customer interface skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with design of mobile handsets is desired
