Description

Amalfi Semiconductor Inc., is seeking a Mixed Signal Design Manager, experienced in the development of cutting-edge mixed signal designs.  In this role you will be responsible for building and working in  a multi-disciplined environment while leading a small team of RF, analog, and digital IC designers in the specification, design, development and testing of the company's innovative mixed signal products. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Staff  RF/Mixed Signal Engineering team
• Lead a team of multi-disciplined designers
• Work with other senior members of a multi-disciplined team in estimating tasks, identifying risks and planning verification strategies
• Be responsible for leading the specification, design, and test strategy for critical blocks, and supporting/contributing to layout activities
• Recommending, evolving and enforcing development methodology consistent with the needs of the organization
• Participating in IC/RFIC requirements, specification, design, and layout reviews
• Work with operations group to bring product(s) to production
• Supporting Marketing and Applications to bring designs to production

Specific Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's Degree in EE; MS or PhD preferred
• 10+ years experience in mixed-signal IC design, 5+ years experience as Design Manager of a mixed-signal team
• Proven track record as Program Manager for complex mixed signal IC development projects
• Proven record of staffing and retaining design teams
• Well- rounded experience in analog / RF circuit design
• Familiar with CMOS IC design
• Familiar with the Cadence design and simulation environment
• Experience with off-chip components and IC/RFIC/block characterization strategies
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated success in working with multi-disciplined teams
• Proven ability to set and meet development milestones
• A self-starter and strategic thinker, with demonstrated success in a small company environment
