The Stratos™ GSM/GPRS family, AM7801, AM7802 and AM7802, are Amalfi Semiconductor's industry leading transmit modules. The modules are pin-to-pin compatible and are manufactured in a standard bulk CMOS technology. These products outperform all competing solutions used in GSM/GPRS mobile handsets today.

The AM7802 transmit module supports dual transmit bands, 900MHz and 1800MHz and has two interchangeable RX ports. The AM 7801 supports four transmit bands, 850MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz and 1900MHz and has four interchangeable RX ports. Finally, the AM7803 supports four transmit bands, 850MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz and 1900MHz and has two interchangeable RX ports. All modules have integrated 50Ω input and output matching with DC blocking and harmonic filtering which eliminates the need for external components. Advanced digital power control provides stable, controlled and repeatable output power over all operating conditions while simplifying calibration. Patented AdaptiveRF™ architecture enables these transmit modules to achieve high efficiency and therefore longer talk times in mobile handsets by intelligently adapting to operations at different output power levels.

AM7801/7802 and 7803 are highly robust and reliable products and provides over 1,500V ESD protection (HBM) on all pins including the RF pins and 8kV (IEC) on the antenna port. They can withstand load mismatches of greater than VSWR 20:1.
